I knew from the start that I was going to enjoy reading this story because the main characters were two middle aged women who I could identify with. The two women ,Thea and Denise, were about to set of on an adventure. If anybody deserves an adventure is is certainly two middle aged women, in my opinion.
The two women first met during an embarrassing moment in a ladies toilet while they were both attending an evening event . Thea managed to get Denise out of an unfortunate situation. Then over a short period of time they would bump into each other while going about their daily lives. They did not have much in common personality wise , but they often went to the same places.
These meetings then lead to a coffee date and then friendship followed. Both women were going through a bad patch with their age related problems and their family lives. So when one suggested a night away together in a luxury hotel, this lead to a strange sequence of events.
