I was intrigued by this book from the get-go as I am so familiar with the story of Thelma & Louise, and I was not disappointed with English version as it were!

The story focuses on the importance of female friendship of two women whose lives cross and then are linked forever.

Both women are of a certain vintage (much prefer this than calling them middle-aged women as there is nothing appealing about that), who are both dealing with their own issues and problems, which helps you to empathise and relate to the characters (homely Denise and fiercely feisty and confident Thea).

This is a well written book, that even though they are not in my age bracket, I can relate and I love how this book champions female friendship and the impact that it has.

I've never read any of Caroline Bond's book before, but it's safe to say that I will be reading more of them in the future.
