I absolutely loved this book. I was initially drawn in by the cover and the blurb, and it sounded like a real feel-good read.

Thea is a feisty divorcee with a fractured relationship with her teenage daughter. Denise runs a successful business with her husband and lives in a large house in St Albans with him and her two sons, but she's not happy. When she meets Thea by chance at a networking event, the two click and a spontaneous weekend away turns into a life changing trip for the both of them.

The weekend away starts to stretch on and, as Denise keeps delaying her trip home to her 'picture perfect' life, Thea starts to suspect that there is more to it than meets the eye. Meanwhile, Thea's bucket list items make Denise realise that Thea seems to have tied up a lot of loose ends at home before she left. Is there more to both of their trips than it seems?
