Oooooh I simply loved this book!! The journey of Thea and Denise is the story of a sisterly bond you never want to lose. I found myself enjoying this read right until the very end, I never wanted it to end !! It was a brilliant timely novel of escapism and I found myself lost in the pages. It is a book about female companionship and how important it is. I loved the experience both girls had, being older meant they were wiser and I felt myself finding their journey more important because of the time they were at in their lives. It was the perfect sunshine/ summer holiday read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I never actually watched Thelma and Louise and links have been made between the film and the inspiration to this book I believe. But those who may know it might be more inclined to give this a go.
