I have read the paperbacks The Forgotten Sister and The Second Child, which I loved reading both of those books.

As I am a big fan of the author Caroline Bond, and after reading the blurb on the story for Thea and Denise, I thought it sounded a good story about them going on a road trip. Plus I loved the cover and thought this story is for me.

But I was quite surprised to find out while reading the first five or so chapters that nothing much happened to keep me glued to story, unlike when I read the other two books, The Forgotten Sister and The Second Child I literally couldn’t put either of them down.

I was genuinely surprised that I didn’t get into Thea and Denise. As I am one those readers that can get into most books.

But Sadly for me this book was a difficult one to get into, as after about five or six chapters nothing happened to keep up my interest. I just didn’t know where the story was going.

However this is my own reflection of Thea and Denise. And I would definitely read a another book by Caroline Bond as she is one of my favourite authors, but not this novel.

Lots of other reviewers have enjoyed reading this book. As Caroline Bond is one my favourite authors with previous books of hers that I have enjoyed I will recommend reading Thea and Denise.
