I thoroughly enjoyed reading and seeing how watching Thea and Denise's friendship developed on their spontaneous road trip and watching their stories develop and their understanding of what this trip symbolises for them. It certainly made me want to pack up and go on a road trip of my own!
Whilst a fun and adventurous story, it was also deep and thought-provoking. It evoked a lot of emotion whilst reading.
I really enjoyed the writing style and the interchanging perspectives of both women, which built a holistic picture with both of their points of view. I stayed really engaged in the story throughout.
I've not read any other books by Caroline Bond before, but I would definitely be tempted to pick up another.
