This is such a great read I was really impressed with it. I thought the story was well written and I liked the characters and found them relatable. The story follows two main characters Denise and Thea. Both are unhappy with their lives and need to escape. What better then than to have a night away from it all or maybe make that two nights or maybe lets not go back home at all. The novel is about family and how we treat people we love and how we cope with different circumstances. The story has great drama especially especially between mother and daughter and has some tough topics to deal with and was an emotional read at times. I found it a fun and engaging read and could picture myself there with the characters and it did make me feel like taking a road trip myself. I would definately recommend this book if you love a family saga and I think it a great holiday read.
