This book just wasnt for me, perhaps I had too high expectations. From the blerb I felt this book could of been full of excitement but it fell flat. Felt like this book was too similar to other stories/ films. It just didn't seem original and because of this I found it difficult to engage with. The storyline seemed too obvious at points and lacked depth. For me it lacked excitement and an original storyline. The characters also seemed stereotypical. I would of liked to see more twists and turns and adventure. The book is however quite emotional at points and the author does a good job of setting the scene and explaining the main characters. Others may find this book enjoyable but I just didn't find it a page turner by any means. There was nothing that left me wanting more or even a sequel. Might suit those that like more of an easy read, maybe ideal for on holiday.
