I love Caroline Bond’s books and so was very excited to read this one. It is a bit of a change in style, as it does not have the ethical element that is usually found in her books.

That said it was a wonderfully told tale of friendship, aging, parenting, caring and life in general.

Thea and Denise are both middle aged women who are not sure they are happy with their lot. They meet by chance and strike up a friendship.

The characters are well written and I liked both Thea and Denise. The trials and tribulations they faced are so relatable.

The story has a good pace, it was not rushed but kept you engaged throughout. I read the book in 24 hours.

A wonderful tale of life choices, making the most of what you have and finding friendship in unlikely places!

The book is obviously a nod to Thelma and Louise, but while similar in theme the story is unique and the characters wonderful.
