I thought the cover of this book was absolutely lovely and having read the initial chapters I was looking forward to reading it. Thea and Denise tells a story of female friendship and taking back your own life. Two women meet at a difficult point in life and proceed to form a quick and steady friendship. As Thea and Denise take on the road trip of a lifetime they quickly go through many highs and lows.
I thought that this was a good book with two interesting female leads and I enjoyed the writing style of the author. However I found it fairly easy to see what was coming up in the future of the book and so found it a little slow in parts as it wasn't a book which made me desperate to know what happens next.
Overall I thought it was a good book centred around two interesting characters and there was a good level of character development. It is a nice summer read.
