I really loved this book from start to finish. The cover is really appealing and I just raced through it. I loved watching Thea and Denise's friendship develop and I liked the way the story was told swapping between their perspectives so we could see each situation from both of their points of view. Lately I am more interested in books about female friendships and mother-daughter or sister relationships than romance stories so this book was perfect for me. There were plenty of twists and secrets so I found it a real page turner. I like that the focus on the female characters was emphasised by Thea's love interest only ever being described as 'the nice man'. I wasn't sure where the story was going to go but I loved the ending. I have read other books by Caroline Bond before and enjoyed them so I will definitely look out for her next one and I will be recommending this one to others.
