When I saw the cover of "Thea and Denise" and read the first look, I wasn't too impressed. I thought it seemed like a bit of a take off of the movie "Thelma and Louise", which is a film I am not keen on. Based on that I didn't rush to read my copy of Thea and Denise. However, once I opened it and was past the first few chapters I was hooked and read it in a matter of days! The book tells the story of two women who go on a road trip to escape their every day lives for a short while. There are a range of interesting characters and it is nice to read a book with strong, older, female leads I liked how the story is told from the different perspectives of the two main characters. I also really liked how you gradually learn more about the main characters to build up a picture of who they really are. Overall I think this is a great book for women in their late 30s and over!
