You know Thelma and Louise, and this homage to the classic is a brilliantly contemporary story about two women losing and finding themselves all over again.

Both Thea and Denise are absolutely wonderful characters - their friendship is beautifully written despite their differences and it was lovely to watch as it grows and changes along with them. Both are painfully relatable and funny in their own ways - with their own motivations for their ultimate road trip whether its problems with their marriage, their kids or their overall direction in life.

What starts off as a night away with friends turns into a chaotic, messy and absurd adventure for both Thea and Denise. And behind all the mad-cap hijinks and escapades is a really heartfelt, nuanced and moving story about the ever-growing pressures and expectations of womanhood, and learning to find our place in the world.
