This looks like a story to get immersed in. The main character is likable and that, to me, is very important. There's a strong feeling that this fantasy world is one where a woman must, and should, break free from society's and family's expectations of her. The stark cover with its hints of the Middle East is intriguing. It should go down a storm among readers of all ages.
