I would be interested to see if this book picked up at all; I found the pace to be fairly slow. The passage about the Wind was different, but could have happened much earlier to catch the readers attention. As it is, there are two chapters of fairly boring princess stuff, and the princess doesn't have much character at all. The comment from her brother about being embarrassed by her behaviour suggests she can be quite feisty, but there was little evidence of this in her interaction with others - she seemed a little devoid of personality. I'd like to be proved wrong!
