The intro to the book gave good insight to the characters in the plot. The character of the princess resembles a young women painfully unhappy in her rich surroundings. It suggests she’s learned her life that’s drafted out for her isn’t what she hoped for. In turn it shows optimism for her future as a princess and possibly being able to lead her own independence.
