I do enjoy a YA fantasy adventure story, and this one looks like it will fit the bill. The first impression reads well, and you are drawn into Princess Alyrra's world where she isn't well thought of by her mother, brother or the council of Adania. She seems more at home in the company of the servants. I would love to read on and find out what Prince Kestrin is actually like, what his father's reasoning is behind seeking out a betrothal between Alyrra and Kestrin, and just what did Alyrra do three years prior? I like the cover - it is quite striking.
