This isn’t the usual genre of book I’d pick up but the cover is beautiful and interesting. After reading the synopsis and first sample, I’m hooked! Alyrra seems like a really relatable character and strong, female protagonist, can’t wait to find out what happens to her after her betrothal and the ensuing court politics. The sample was beautifully crafted and I lost myself in the forest with Alyrra. I would definitely pick this up in a book shop after reading the preview!
