The cover and title of Thorn were definitely eye-catching for me. The two worked so well together!
However, after taking a peek at the blurb I soon realized this book wasn't really for me. I still decided to read the Sneak Peek to see if it could win me over (like some fantasy books do), but this one just doesn't grip me.
It seems to have a very slow and drawn out beginning and the narrative of the first person present tense doesn't seem to flow nicely as an older reader.
I definitely think this will be a great young adult fantasy, but it's just not for me.
