I'll say first of all that fantasy is not a genre I read so I'm probably not the ideal reader for this book. However, I can tell it is well-crafted with some good world building, an interesting cast made up of good and bad characters (some of whom may turn out to be the reverse) and an engaging main character who the reader will want to root for.
