I want to say I loved this book but I can’t it’s a great book don’t get me wrong but it was very slow at the beginning.
After princess Alyrra gets turned into another girl she finally gets to be free of the life she was meant to live. She never wanted to be royal and her family hates her so to her this change was a wish come true. She earns her living becoming a goose girl and seeing the real issues in the kingdom she was meant to lead beside prince Kestrin she knows she needs to get her life back and do what’s right.
The side characters are my favorite part of the whole book, they are always there for her even after she retails the truth to them. And Kestrin is always gravitating towards Alyrra (thorn) showing they were always meant to be together.
