Something so much more beyond a simple romance book. A highly gripping plot that kept me clutching tight onto my book. Princess Alyrra is not your typical badass heroine, however her compelling character and loving nature really shines through. She goes on a journey whilst having an ongoing inner battle, fighting for either the simple life she always craved, or for the kingdom and her prince. Regardless of her past deamons and abuse, Alyrra works hard for what she believes in and jumps over many hurdles along the way. With her identity stolen and a new life ahead of her she's stuck between two important choices. This book is a peice of art and definitely one to pick up! The writing style is simply immaculate and it has a great pace throughout the book. I liked how each part was carefully thought out and ended up loving many of the characters Khanani crafted.
