So far, a simple glance at the cover told me the book was going to be good. The colours and the design on the cover stands out. The girl seems mysterious with the direction she’s looking in. Whilst I read the sample pages, I thought it does look rather interesting and it automatically had me wondering what sort of conflict is occurring between Princess Alyrra and her mother (or any past conflict). Also, the synopsis seemed intriguing and made me want to read even further. Seeing magic in a book always makes it look interesting and I doubt this book will fail me when I read it (I intend to read it as soon as possible actually).
The writing style seems simple enough to understand and I don’t think I’ll struggle at all while reading this book. The synopsis also made me think that there will be character development, I’m hoping it’s a good one because this book does look good !
