With just a glance to the cover, I just knew I was going to love this book!!! I love fairy tale retellings and Thorn by Intisar Khanani did not disappoint!!! The cover art is stunning, absolutely beautiful. The characters are so well written, they each have believable personalities that are very understanding, you can not be helped feeling something for them, you love them and you hate them, you hate their enemies as if you were them, you even end up feeling sympathetic to the cruel, the bad and the evil characters. I feel like this is the perfect book for anyone even if you have not read a book in years or have been in a reading slump, in fact I feel like this would be the perfect book to get you out of one!!! You do not need to know the fairy tale of The Goose Girl to enjoy Thorn, do yourself a favour and pick up your own copy asap, you will not regret it!!!
