This novel was a great one to pick up and start reading since it had me hooked from the first look. I loved getting to know Princess Alyrra and her troubles with court politics along her journey to another land. This book was very much an absorbing fantasy that I found hard to put down. The writing style was amazing at giving us insight into Alyrra’s inner thoughts. The mysterious Lady was suspenseful and it really made me continue on and on to find out how the story would conclude. I really liked the characters as I felt we could connect easily with them, I began to develop sympathy for many such as Sage and even Valka. It was very interesting to read about her journey in another body and life, I would recommend this novel to anyone who’s a fan of adventure.
