This is retelling of the Goose Girl story, I didn’t know the original so I went in completely blind. This book is very descriptive, it’s beautifully written and I really liked the main character. It’s ultimately a story of self belief, morals & betrayal. The relationships throughout are lovely & also cruel. It did feel a little long winded in places. I’d recommend this for a mid teen reader as some language is complex and might be confusing for those under 14/15. Overall it was a really enjoyable read 👍🏼👍🏼 I adore the cover art!
