The cover of this book had me interested and the blurb sounded good.
Fantasy isn't my normal choice to read but I felt this had potential.
I found this was a slow starter and struggled to get into it but once it got going all was good.
It has everything you need from a fairytale style book.... Good, evil, a princess and a Prince, twists and turns..
Princess Alyrra isn't your normal princess and wants to be herself, she has no powers as such but her kindness and what she believes is right. He family are awful to her and leave her no choice when a king wants her hand for his son.
I have since learned this is a retell of a novel called Goose Girl (I am not familiar with that story)
I'd recommend it
