As a mother I was instantly intrigued to see where the story would go in this book. Fortune, a rich business man that is somewhat estranged from his missing daughter, attempts to cope with news that the police investigation into her disappearance has been scaled back.
The writing style is natural and flows well. I love how the narrative switches to a first person narrative in the parts where we get a bit more insight into Sophie's life before she went missing and in which she is harassed by an internet troll on her blog.
What I find truly frightening about this plot is how "every day" it is to find an internet troll on some blog or social media site creating havoc just for the thrill of it. The most frightening threat is the one that hides behind the Web and could be anyone.
