I really enjoyed this. It's a quick read. The story centres around Fortune, en ex-pat living and working in Dubai, who has returned to the UK As his daughter has gone missing. The problem is that she has a troubled history and the general concensus is that she has disappeared to kill herself. on top of this a huge amount of money has gone missing from the bank that Fortune works at, his wife hates him and wants a divorce and Fortune is suffering from terminal lung cancer. Despite all of this he is convinced that something has happened to her and that he can save her.
