Oh dear, this is not just fiction it is completely outlandish fiction that goes beyond mere fantasy and strays into the realms of "you have got to be kidding me". Not only are the main protagonists still in High School but they appear to be wealthy, privileged and self-absorbed. Oh and they also are involved in a plot to get the School Coach arrested for dealing steroids and some kidnap plot to do with technology secrets that only Digby can access. WTAF!
The writing is not particularly strong so it does feel as though this book slips in to parody very early on. This is definitely looking like one for the YA market that appreciates constructed reality shows and believes that appearing on such makes you a celebrity. Suffice to say, I don't think this one is for me from the early read through but I suppose it could get better.
