I've never given a book a one star rating on here but unfortunately this book was one I couldn't even finish. I'm unsure as to whether it's because the plot just didn't cut it for me, that it was the second book and I hadn't read the first or whether it's just because it is aimed more at a teen audience rather than the adult reader. I managed to get around half way through and I have given up. The book is about a girl during her high school years who has a boyfriend that involves her in a plan he has that is illegal but will help him uncover what happened to his sister who has died. The cover is lovely and bright and I'm sure my younger self would have loved it but it's just not one I could get through to the end of.
