Trouble Never Sleeps concludes Stephanie Tromly's Trouble series and had a lot riding on it. I grew up on Cam Jansen and Nancy Drew books while watching the Scooby Gang on the TV so I did read this series through rose-tinted glasses. My ship got together and we finally found out what happened to Digby's sister (Sally). Trouble Never Sleeps provided a really satisfying conclusion to the mystery it built up in the previous two books in a raw emotional and hilarious way and that is all thanks to Stephanie. Even so I know Trouble Never Sleeps has left me and many other readers wishing for a continuation in this wacky wonderful world. If a spin-off ever does happen, I would drop whatever else I'm reading in a heartbeat!
