I had really enjoyed the first part of the book and was enjoying the whole
mystery aspect but then the characters I had seen myself growing to like revealed another side to them and it was one that I didn't like. I didn't like any of the characters in this book and none of them even grew on me. Once I lost interest in the characters, it all went downhill because suddenly I didn't care about the plot and I found myself skimming this. This is hardly 300 pages...I SHOULD NOT BE SKIMMING but I was because this was a book where I needed to like the characters to enjoy the story. That being said, I do think that others may enjoy this...personally I didn't like Zoe and her attitude towards her mum, in particular.
