I really enjoyed the first few chapters I have read, even though, genre wise this isn't necessarily something I may usually have gone for in the first instance, unless recommended.
However because of, unfortunately, very current events, this makes the book have a sort of appeal to me, and that makes it even more interesting I think!
A few chapters in and some characters introduced, especially McReady, I found myself excited to find out more about. He seems set to be the main man in figuring out these crimes and has something to prove. He's a likeable, relatable character.
It seems fast paced, which I like, with different angles and crimes to thrill with. It looks to be a good read and I want to know more!
