This was my 1st time reading one of Mike Thomas's books & I couldn't put it down. I also love the fact that he was an ex-policeman so to read a book knowing that the author knows exactly what he's talking about (in detail) was fascinating.
As it already says in the blurb, it's not the Middle-East - it's Cardiff; it gripped me already because I don't live far from there, so to read about places & areas that I know, was quite chilling. & because obviously you wouldn't like to think that these situations arise anywhere in the world, let alone on your door step.
When another attack happens on a young girl, it was so exciting to discover that both stories link, but you just can't wait to find out how when you're flicking each page.
The cover of the book got my interest immediately, from the colours to the illustrations! Id definitely recommend this book!
