I could not relate any more to Effie. Her way of narrating her life, her failures and how she is feeling about it all it is so raw, so real, so true, so authentic, so sad that I liked her straight away and wanted to be part of her life in this adventure that is her book.
I understand her struggles meeting people and making friends, I get how difficult it's! And I share her love for books, as I do also work in a bookshop!
I liked very much the writing style. It is so addictive! I like the fact that it is so easy to read that I literally flew by.
I cannot wait to know how the story develops, what happens next to Effie and how her life is going to change. Is she meeting this guy from school, Marcus Roe? Will she go on another date with Theo?. I wish her all the best and I hope she does get it!
