I found myself enjoying this tale of "Meh" and her attempts to keep the world at arms length whilst holding it responsible for all her failures. Something about her self loathing and inability to recognise that only she can change things is endearing - major kudos to the author for achieving that. I did anticipate being put off this novel by the "heroine" and her overall attitude but after the first 3 pages I found I was actually enjoying the read and smirking at her inner monologue.
