I immediately found myself drawn into this book due to Effie’s age and the location seems to be not too far from where my friends and I grew up.
The story already reminds me of terrible modern day dating stories regaled by my friends, causing me to start rooting for Effie and to want to see where the book is going! I have already been snickering whilst reading and finding elements of the characters introduced to be relatable to others within my own life!
