I really like how Effie is given a really strong voice and I feel that her character is well fleshed out and developed. The writing style is quite different to other romantic novels so I feel like I liked this better than I usually would. The cover is quite cute but I'm not sure if I would have been drawn to it if I hasn't read some of the book first.
