My kind of girl.. likeable and flawed and downright honest!

Although the synopsis didn’t scream out “read me”, I fell hook, line and sinker for this book after reading the FI and racing through the first-person narrative of self-deprecating, flawed but very likeable protagonist, Effie! Put simply, she is my kind of girl and sharing some of her issues (not fitting in and falling apart), I am immediately vying for her. Her honesty and snarky sense of humour left me with a smile on face and promising a mix of laughter, tears and utter joy, this is a book I would most definitely appreciate reading!
