I had high hopes for this one. The cover is pretty, I like the simple design, and the blurb sounded like a light gentle read which isn't my go-to genre, but sometimes it's just what you need. The opening chapter however is rather off-putting. The main character sounds very whiny, and I think that would annoy me in the long run. I don't think I'll be reading this one.
