A funny, light read so far. Effie is so down on herself and sees everyone around her living their best life whilst she feels left behind dragging her heels in the dirt. I can so relate to some of the things she says, drifting apart from her best friend as their lives go down separate paths yet neither quite willing to verbalise that it’s over. Seeing others lives through rose tinted glasses, I’m interested to find out if all is what it seems....
