I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish. It made me laugh out loud but also tugged at my heartstrings. I loved Effie's character, she was so likeable and I could relate to her, and i liked how she had grown and found herself as a person. It really made me think about myself and what goals I wanted to achieve in life.
Very nearly normal is romantic, funny, and inspiring and makes you realise that things aren't always as they seem in other people's lives. You just have to do what makes you happy and enjoy and make the most of what you have.
I would highly recommend this book. I would definitely read a book by this author again.
