When I started reading this book, I thought that it would be a classic romcom with the main character, Effie, meeting the love of her life and that being it. It reminds me of Bridget Jones’ Diary but set now and addressing the issues that most single, almost 30 year old women have.
I was surprised at the amount of twists in this book. The author chose just the right time in the storyline to introduce the main twist and I have to say my heart stopped a few time’s! It kept me enthralled the whole time and I did not want to put it down. I found it easy to read, easy to follow and got emotionally attached to the main characters within the first chapter.
I loved this book. Even though it did make me almost cry a few times - I wouldn’t change the storyline at all! A definite must read for me.
