This is a love story with life matters woven between and set in modern times with the mentions of social media and the like. The wording is very descriptive and relatable, with differing family relationships and their impact on the main character. It's interesting seeing her journey and thoughts throughout the book, a real page turner. Interesting how relationships develop. There are great characters and you gradually get to know them and their surprising sides.
The writing style is quite wordy and was hard to follow for a few pages but you soon get in the swing of it and realise how funny it is. It’s interesting to read particularly for the interplay of the different characters - plenty of ups and downs along the way and plenty of surprises. I loved it!
