On the front of this book, Miranda Dickinson calls this title "a compelling, quirky love story" and I couldn't agree more. I love a good romantic story and if you throw in a bookshop then you have me sold! Effie is a brilliant character, from start to finish. I love everything about how her character comes across, in such a real way. I especially like her interactions with Theo. The storyline was brilliant, the characters were fantastic and I was completely hooked in by Hannah Sunderland's writing. She had a way of making me keep turning the page. I had a lovely couple of days reading this in the glorious sunshine. I also definitely agree that if you love books by Jojo Moyes, then you will love this.
