Effie feels that life is passing her by. She drinks too much, still lives with her parents and is unlucky in love. One day she meets Theo, by chance, and he gives her a chance to find happiness. However the path of true love doesn't run smoothly and, after Theo compiles a list of things for them to do together because Effie feels she has missed out on so much, it's clear that things with Theo aren't quite right. As they start to work through the list together, Effie starts to fall for him. But Theo seems distant. Someone's got a life changing secret but will the other one end up broken hearted?
I loved this book! It's a bit different, with Effie being a prickly character and not a typical love struck girl. Theo is an anti hero, likeable and fun. A really enjoyable book with engaging characters that I would happily recommend.
