This made me feel sad. The main character, Effie, is so sad and defensive and angry and jealous and very unlucky.
I think I would like to read more to see how the relationship between the two main characters develops but I would have to be in a certain frame of mind to continue.
I am interested to see what will develop as the story moves on and I do want Effie to be happier but also less self pitying.
I just want to give her a kick up the backside and tell her to change her attitude.
