I loved this book, it had my hooked and I stayed up to finish it. The first thing that caught my eye about this book was the cover, it’s simple yet effective. I thought it fit the book nicely.
The characters were interesting, and I enjoyed reading about Effie’s personal journey. I found her struggle really emotional and I loved reading about how she improved her life to make herself happy. There were points in this book where I found myself crying and others laughing.
The overall plot was great, and it was not clichéd like it thought it might be. It was full of twists that I did not see coming.
