Last year I read Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine and it was my favourite book of the year, this book reminded me of that making it my favourite book of this year.
Effie started off the story as a character who got on my nerves because she felt the world was against her and everyone else’s life was perfect but as the story went on she grew on me and I started to see myself in her.
One day she meets a man called Theo and there story is beautiful and tragic with secrets being explored. I loved the way this story was written and it didn’t just focus on the relationship it still kept Effie at the forefront of the story.
I would recommend this book to everyone who wants a story that will make you laugh and cry! Absolutely loved it!
